This week on Artworks,

When Mike Bridavsky started posting photos of his adorable cat Lil Bub on Facebook a year ago, he had no idea she would become an internet sensation. Annie Corrigan speaks with him and the director of the new documentary Lil Bub & Friendz.

And in their twentieth year, Dena El Saffar and Tim Moore reflect on the music they have made as members of the Middle Easter music ensemble Salaam. They talk about their upcoming album of new compositions by El Saffar and play a few songs in the studio.

SALAAM (Dena & Tim) are 2 phenomenal musicians, as well as, human beings. 3 years ago they hosted my original World Music band “Hejira”. They worked hard to get us a paying gig in Bloomington, IN as we were touring across America. This unselfish community spirit was very much appreciated by us.
