Ben Alford studies History and Philosophy of Science at Indiana University and works in Indiana Public Media's online dimension. Though technically a resident of Bloomington, he still claims Gallup, New Mexico, as his true home. The stars just aren't as bright in the Midwest.

I graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1976 and 2 days later started my business career by going to work for a local attorney. Since that time I have continued to work in various office settings and capacities. I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, and traveling.
, originally from Queensland, Australia, served as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculties at Indiana University until 2004. In the same year, Moya began hosting Focus on Flowers for WFIU. In addition, Moya does interviews for Profiles, is a member of the Bloomington Hospital Board, and authored Perennials Short and Tall from Indiana University Press.
Margaret is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Telecommunications and a minor in Psychology. The daughter of two scientists, Margaret has been surrounded by the subject her entire life. She enjoys social media, writing, television, and, of course, science!
John Bailey came to Bloomington in January 2011, bringing with him more than 16 years of experience in public radio as a program director, classical music and news host, membership coordinator, and manager of online initiatives. He is a University of Missouri graduate and a native of the Show-Me State.
Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Eoban Binder came to Bloomington in 2004 to get his Telecommunications B.A. from Indiana University. He began working in 2008 as Web Producer for WFIU and Muslim Voices. Eoban's interests include music, mopeds, technology, politics and traveling.
A graduate of George Mason University and a native Virginian, Eric has worked in pubic and government television since 1999. Having escaped the sprawling suburbs of Washington D.C., Eric lives in Monroe County with his wife, three children, and ten chickens and enjoys a much shorter commute.
Born in Santa Rosa, California, Cary Boyce came to Bloomington in January of 1989. Previously, Cary has worked as Operations Director, Program Production Manager, Multimedia Projects Director, and Promotions and Marketing Director. Currently, Cary oversees operations and technical support for WFIU, and facilitates several program, production, and marketing initiatives within the station. Cary’s interests include working with his new music production company, Aguava, where he sings, plays, composes, and occasional conducts.

Scott has been working for IU Radio/TV Services since he was in high school. He started working here full time in 1995. Since then his duties include designing and animation most of the on-air graphics used for WTIU and Radio/TV Services. He also does all the DVD & Blu-ray authoring. The last part of his numerous duties included being the system administrator for the the in house video editing systems .
Born and raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Christopher Citro is a candidate in the MFA and English MA programs at Indiana University. He began co-hosting The Poets Weave, in the spring of 2009. He also Associate Editor of Lyric Poetry Review and Associate Poetry Editor for Indiana Review.
Kyle Clayton is a WFIU news producer. He is currently studying journalism at Indiana University and comes to WFIU following an internship in the fall of 2011. After serving in the U.S. Army, he returned home to Indiana in 2008 to begin his education and pursue his interests in writing.
Annie Corrigan studied oboe at Bowling Green State University and Indiana University. In addition to performing with various orchestras around Indiana, she produces program for Indiana Public Media. To fulfill a New Year's resolution, she recently became a member of her local co-op. It's about time.
Born and raised in Bloomington, Brian has worked as an Account Executive at both the Herald Times and Yellow Book, joining WFIU in November of 2005. Currently, Brian works in Corporate Development, doing underwriting, production support, and corporate support sales. Brian’s interests include fishing, gardening, and playing with his boxer, Duke.
Janelle Davis is a violinist and performer with period instrument ensembles throughout the United States. She is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University, Bloomington where she specializes in early music.
Gretchen Frazee is a reporter/producer for WFIU and WTIU news. Prior to her current role, Frazee worked as the associate online content coordinator for WFIU/WTIU. Wendy Gillespie Co-Host, Harmonia Early Music Podcast
Wendy Gillespie is Professor of Music, teaching early bowed strings and performance studies, at the Early Music Institute of the Jacobs School of Music, Bloomington, IN and President of the VdGSA. As a viola da gamba player, she has made more than 80 CDs and performed on five continents.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Don Glass has worked in public radio since 1966. From 1970 to 1990 he served as Program Manager for WFIU, becoming Special Projects Director and Senior Producer from 1990 to 2005. He has retired from fulltime employment at the University, but continues to host and produce A Moment of Science. He enjoys working with A Moment of Science and learning fascinating new facts.
Dan Goldblatt is the Multi-media Producer for WFIU/WTIU News. A graduate of Indiana University, he studied journalism and anthropology. He currently lives in Bloomington with his cat, June Carter.
A native of East Chicago, Indiana, Gonzo has lived in Bloomington since returning to IU in 1990 to complete a BA in Telecommunications. He has worked for IU Radio-TV Services in various capacities since coming onto the student production crew in 1992. He became a full-time staff member in 1997.
Gonzo lives in Bloomington with his wife, Tish, and their dogs. When not walking their dogs, they try to bike as much as possible. He's an avid sports fan and enjoys watching IU's teams play. He's also a staunch supporter of Manchester United and whatever Major League Soccer team has the most Hoosiers.
Born in Germany, Michael moved with his family to Bloomington in 1982. He graduated from Indiana University in the spring of ‘07. Michael starting working with Radio & TV Services May of ‘03 as a student on the production crew and later promoted to his current position in March of ‘08.
Brad Howard Director of Engineering and Operations
Bradley Howard is originally from Whitesville, Kentucky, came to Bloomington in January of 1969. Over the years he has worked as a Television Engineer, Transmitter and Remote Supervisor, and Assistant Chief Engineer. Currently, Bradley is the Director of Operations and Engineering at WFIU and WTIU. In his down time, Bradley enjoys gardening, golfing, and camping.
Stan Jastrzebski came to WFIU in June of 2008, following time as a reporter with WGN in Chicago and as an editor at Network Indiana, an Indianapolis news service. Stan is the winner of awards from the Associated Press, the Radio-Television News Director's Association, the Indiana Broadcasters Association and the Society of Professional Journalists. He regularly hosts WFIU's Ask the Mayor and Noon Edition programs, as well as anchoring Morning Edition on Wednesdays.

Born in Idaho, LuAnn Johnson moved to Bloomington in 2001. She obtained her B.A. in English at Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts and her M.A. in Folk Studies at Western Kentucky University. LuAnn joined WFIU in August of 2001, and currently serves as Program Services Manager, overseeing the distribution of all WFIU syndicated programs. She produces The Poets Weave and acts as production coordinator for Harmonia.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Nancy Krueger moved to Bloomington in 1980. She works closely with the IU Alumni Association, Bloomington Area Arts Council, and IU Art Museum. In 2007, Nancy began working as a Major Gifts and Grants Officer for IU Radio/TV, raising money, working with donors, and writing grants. Nancy is also active in the south central Indiana arts community, and enjoys both reading and traveling in her free time.
Raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Yael holds a MFA in painting from Indiana University, an MA in art history from Columbia University, and a BA from the University of Virginia, where she studied languages and literature. She joined WFIU in 2000, where she hosts music and talk programs, and produces features on artists, writers, musicians and other creative people for Artworks. Yael co-hosts A Moment of Science and writes essays for A Moment of Indiana History. She enjoys getting to know WFIU listeners--from those who submit commentaries for Speak Your Mind to those who provide the comments she reads on Saturday mornings.
Liz Leslie is an associate web producer at WFIU and a recent graduate of Indiana University's School of Journalism. In addition to contributing to Earth Eats and Muslim Voices, Liz likes to run. And eat.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Rachel Lyon came to Bloomington in 2009 to pursue her MFA in Creative Writing at IU. At WFIU, she is an announcer for All Things Considered and classical music, and she produces features for Artworks. Rachel's glad to be working in radio again after a long drought since her undergraduate years, when she was a DJ for WPRB, the independent station in Princeton, NJ.
Dalton Main is the Producer of Noon Edition for WFIU. He is a graduate of Transylvania University where he studied English and Cinema Studies, and is now a graduate student with the IU School of Journalism.
Angela Mariani, originally from Ludlow, Massachusetts, first moved to Bloomington in 1987, however she currently resides in Texas. Angela started working at WFIU in 1989, creating Harmonia in 1991, which she still hosts today. In addition, Angela works as an Assistant Professor of Musicology and Director of the Collegium Musicum at Texas Tech University. Her interests include reading, yoga, and studying eastern philosophies.
Paul Messing has been writing and producing original audio material and music for more than 40 years. His work as V.P/Creative Director of Radio Band of America in New York City, won him more than 50 CLIO awards, including 10 gold statuettes by 1981. By 1995 he had spent 10 years working with an animator and filmmaker as audio producer, script consultant, composer, and sound designer. This work involved the production of many short animated films, including segments for Sesame Street, and culminated in the production of the American Playhouse one hour animated autobiographical film, "Drawn From Memory," which was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and broadcast on PBS in October, 1995. After moving to Bloomington in 1998, Paul became affiliated with Indiana University's Department of Radio and Television Services, creating original music scores for documentaries and acting as creative consultant and sound designer/producer for special projects involving both traditional and interactive technology for both WFIU and WTIU. Most recently he recorded and produced the complete Oral History of IU Chancellor Kenneth R.R.Gros Louis. This 2-year project consisted of recording weekly interview sessions and editing and packaging 31 hours of audio material into a 30 CD 2-box set.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Perry Metz arrived at WFIU in 2003. He obtained his A.B. in Political Science and Journalism, and A.M. in Communication Management from Indiana University. Currently, Perry is the General Manger of WFIU and WTIU. He enjoys traveling, working out, and listening to jazz music.
Phil Meyer began his career in public broadcasting as a college student in the design department at WGBH in Boston. He received the 2000 PBS Communications Professional of the Year Award while working at the PBS station in Cincinnati. He serves on the PBS Development Advisory Committee, the PBS Interactive Station Advisory Council and is the Vice President of the Indiana Debate Commission.
Brent fell in love with the natural geography, rich culture, and lively spirit of our region of Indiana when he first came to Bloomington as a student in the early 1990s. With a background in Television Production, Brent started out at WTIU as a Director of On-Air Promotion in 1997, earning the station its first Emmy in 1999. He also transitioned to the position of Program Manger in 1999, and has worked in WTIU Programming/On-Air Promotion ever since.

Claire Murphy is a graduate of Indiana University with a major in Telecommunications and a minor in Business. Claire has recently joined WTIU as a Multi-Media Journalist in the news department. She has had previous internships with NBC Sports and CBS Sports working as a Production Assistant. Claire is also an alumni member to the Phi Mu Delta Alpha Chapter in Bloomington, Indiana.
Shameka Neely, a native of Nashville, Tennessee enthusiastically joined WTIU as Senior Reporter/ InFocus Producer in the news department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational and Corporate Communication, with a minor in Marketing and Masters of Arts Degrees' in Administrative Dynamics and Communication all from Western Kentucky University. Shameka also holds a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from Indiana University.
Stuart Norton, originally from Massachusetts, has been an Audio Engineer at WTIU since 1998. He's a musician with a background in Electronics and enjoys all things audio.
Mia moved to Bloomington from Louisville, Kentucky in 2002. After completing her BA at Indiana University, she moved to New Orleans to work with neighborhoods recovering from Hurricane Katrina. She left New Orleans to get a master's degree in American Studies from NYU, concentrating on arts-based development and urban nonprofits and neighborhood associations. Now back in Bloomington, she is the Radio Services Coordinator for WFIU. In her free time Mia likes to ride her bike, hike, and go on adventures to offbeat tourist destinations around the Bloomington area.

Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, Michael first moved to Bloomington in 1973 to attend IU. He received his BS in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business in 1980, and his AS in Audio Technology from the Jacobs School of Music in 1987. He joined the WFIU staff in 1996. A multi-instrumentalist, Michael enjoys playing music in his free time along with cooking and the outdoors.
Anna Pranger moved to Bloomington in 2009 to pursue a degree in music librarianship. Before this, she worked on a degree in music history at the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio. She serves as both an assistant producer for Harmonia and the Music Library Assistant for WFIU.
Natalie Rae Good is a Brooklyn based artist, musician and food blogger. She is committed to sharing wholesome, cruelty-free food and blogs her recipes, photos and ideas at http://theveganette.blogspot.com.
Julie is Assistant Producer of Noon Edition. In addition to reporting for WFIU, she also works as an intern for NPR's State of the Re:Union. She is a graduate of Indiana University where she studied French, anthropology, and African studies.
Originally from Bay Village, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Robert is currently a student in the Recording Arts program at the IU School of Music. He began working at WFIU as a Broadcast Assistant in Fall 2008. Outside of work, Robert enjoys performing and recording music, volunteering as a Big Brother, and reading.
Gabrielle loves to cook, garden, and hike in the woods. She is a huge fan of medieval history, Art Nouveau design, and the Arts and Crafts Movement. Gabrielle is currently a part-time student at Indiana University working toward her undergraduate degree in Art History with a minor in Gender Studies.
Brandon J. Smith is excited to be working for public radio in Indiana. He has previously worked in public radio as a reporter and anchor in mid-Missouri for KBIA Radio out of Columbia. Prior to that, he worked for WSPY Radio in Plano, Illinois as a show host, reporter, producer and anchor. His first job in radio was in another state capitol, in Jefferson City, Missouri, as a reporter for three radio stations around Missouri.
Brandon graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2010, with minors in political science and history. He was born and raised in Chicago.
Kyle Stokes joined WFIU/WTIU in 2011 as an education reporter and blogger for StateImpact Indiana, a collaborative reporting venture between WFIU and NPR News. He comes to Bloomington from Columbia, Mo., where he was a producer and reporter for NPR member station KBIA-FM and NBC affiliate KOMU-TV. Originally from Minneapolis, Minn., Stokes is a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and an even prouder Minnesota Twins fan.

A Bloomington native. After serving 10 years in the US Navy I returned to Bloomington and earned my AAS in 2000. I have worked in the Computer Support office of RTVS since December of 2000.
Donna currently serves as the fiscal officer, human resources representative, and head of the Business Office for all segments of Radio & TV Services (RTVS), including WFIU-FM, WTIU-TV, and Production Services. Prior to joining RTVS in 2009, Donna served as an internal auditor/audit manager for over 25 years. Like so many residents, she came to IU to go to school, fell in love with Bloomington, and couldn't bear to leave.
George Walker WFIU Producer/On-Air Broadcast Director
George Walker, born in Winchester, Virginia, came to Bloomington in 1966 for graduate school in Indiana University’s English Department, and began announcing for WFIU in 1967. Currently an On-Air Programming Director, George interviews artists in a wide variety of areas, reviews plays and operas, and supervises on-air performances. In his time away from WFIU, George enjoys reading, exercising, and playing guitar in his local bluegrass band.
Sara Wittmeyer is the News Bureau Chief for WFIU and WTIU. Sara has nearly a decade of experience as a news reporter and previously served with KBIA at the University of Missouri, WNKU at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY, and at WCPO News in Cincinnati.
Scott Witzke moved to Bloomington in 1996. He received a Masters in Music from Indiana University, a Bachelors in Music from Clayton State University, and a Bachelor in Arts from Millersville University. Scott began working at WFIU as Marketing Director in 2006, and is now Marketing Director for WTIU. He enjoys cooking, swimming, and playing music.

Originally from Leavenworth, Kansas, David Wood moved to Bloomington in 2005. He received his Bachelor of Music from Kansas State University, and his Master of Music from the University of North Texas. He studied ensemble direction at the Jacobs School of Music's Early Music Institute and joined WFIU in 2006 as an announcer. He is currently Music Director and Arts Bureau Chief for the station. David’s interests include running, the Japanese martial arts, Irish music and language, music and religion, and, of course, classical music!
Originally from Greencastle, Indiana, Marianne Woodruff moved to Bloomington in 1984 to complete her Bachelors in Arts in Psychology at Indiana University. In addition, Marianne received her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan. She joined WFIU in 2005 as a Corporate Development Manager, securing financial support from businesses for the station. In her downtime, Marianne enjoys gardening, antiquing, and traveling.
