Stephen Ferry

The crimes against humanity that have taken place there, on the part of all these actors, are really on a very large scale. And so I thought it was my responsibility, as best I could as a journalist, to make all that clear.

Stephen Ferry’s photographs have been seen in such publications as The New Yorker, National Geographic, and The New York Times.

His books are I Am Rich Potosi, on silver miners of Bolivia; and Violentology, a product of ten years of photographic documentation in Columbia’s conflict zones.
