Daniel Orr is the chef owner of FARMbloomington. He draws from a lifelong curiosity about individual ingredients, extensive training in the art of finding food’s essence and flavor, and worldwide travel. He calls his cuisine “real food.”
Orr spent two years working at some of the top restaurants in France, was executive chef at Guastavino’s and La Grenouille, both in New York City; and at age 34 received a three-star review from the New York Times. He is author of the cookbook Real Food, and has created Kitchen D’Orr, a line of ten spice blends.
