Roxana Cazan was born and raised in Sibiu, Romania and graduated from ULBA. She completed her graduate work at the University of Louisville, KY and IU Bloomington from where she received an MFA in Creative Writing in 2009.

In 2011, Roxana published a collection of poems entitled Dust & Jewels. At present, she is a doctoral candidate in the IU English Department.
