Eileen Myles

Eileen Myles is a New York City-based poet and author who has performed and published her work widely since 1974.  She is the recipient of the 2010 Shelly Prize from the Poetry Society of America, and her collection of essays entitled The Importance of Being Iceland: Travel Essays in Art received an Andy Warhol/Creative Capital art writer’s grant.  Her most recent work, Inferno (a poet’s novel) comes out in fall 2010 from OR Books.
