Bonnie Maurer earned her MFA in Poetry from Indiana University.  Her fourth book, Reconfigured, was published in March 2009 by Finishing Line Press. She has work forthcoming in War Literature and the Arts, and in the anthology Know This Place, Indiana. Bonnie resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In this edition of The Poets Weave, Bonnie reads her poems “Invitation,” “On Road 52,” “Hospitality,” and “The New Son.”

Jenny Kander

Jenny Kander, Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Jenny Kander moved to Bloomington in 1992. She received a Masters degree from the University of South Africa, and practiced as a grief counselor for 25 years before retiring in 1994 to focus on writing poetry. In 1999, Jenny began presenting The Poets Weave for WFIU. In her free time, Jenny enjoys writing, gardening, and knitting.
