"Still Life With A Bed In The Middle" By Curtis Bauer

Curtis Bauer is the author of the poetry collection Fence Line which won the 2003 John Ciardi Poetry Prize. Bauer's poetry, nonfiction and translations have appeared in Barrow Street, The Iowa Review, The North American Review, and Rivendell, Runes. He teaches Creative Writing and Spanish at Texas Tech University.

In this live recording from the 2011 Blue Light Reading Series (sponsored by Indiana Review), Bauer reads a translation of "Una Semana" by Carlos Pardo, and his own poems "One Task" and "Still Life with a Bed in the Middle."
