Holiday Weekend Round-Up
- Many, many thanks to all who contributed to last week’s Night Lights online fund-drive. We made the goal, aided by pledges from listeners in Britain, France and Japan, as well as the United States. If you didn’t contribute but still wish to do so, you can make a pledge of support here year-round.
- I’ve written another post for NPR’s weekly Take Five jazz sampler column, putting together a playlist for the Fourth of July. You can listen to all five tracks that I chose on the NPR site; two of them are also included in this week’s Night Lights Independence Day tribute, Freedom Jazz!
