Earth Eats is a weekly podcast, public radio program and blog bringing you the freshest news and recipes inspired by local food and sustainable agriculture.
Our mission is to help people feel more connected to their food. So each week on the program we bring you food news, interviews with local farmers and other movers and shakers in the local food movement, mixed with recipes and cooking tips you can try at home.
The program is available as a weekly podcast and all episodes are archived for online listening.
We also keep tabs on the latest headlines in the areas of local food and sustainability on our blogs and on facebook and twitter.

Earth Eats airs on WFIU HD1 each Saturday at 1 pm. The podcast is available each Friday afternoon on our website and in iTunes.

Chef Daniel Orr draws from a lifelong curiosity about individual ingredients combined with extensive training in the art of finding food’s true essence and flavor. The result is simple, yet sophisticated; the best of American food tempered by classic European training. He calls his cuisine “real food for real people.” He is dedicated to producing these wonderful dishes with local ingredients and in as green an environment as possible.
Born in Bowling Green, Ohio, Annie Corrigan moved to Bloomington, Indiana six years ago to pursue degrees in oboe performance. She balances her announcing and producing responsibilities at WFIU Public Radio with her performing schedule around south-central Indiana. As a result, she often takes naps and eats leftovers. While she does not consider herself a cook even in the slightest, she might eventually get there thanks to everything she’s picked up while working on Earth Eats. To fulfill a New Year’s resolution, she recently became a member of her local co-op. It’s about time.
