Lucy Robinson and Amy Karr: Two Crafty Ladies

Lucy Robinson and Amy Karr aren’t your typical crafters. Robinson is a custom handkerchief embroiderer, and Karr is a seamstress who makes custom underwear. WFIU’s Josephine McRobbie talked to both crafters to find out how they ended up doing what they’re doing.

Born and raised in southeast Australia, Josephine moved to Bloomington in 1996. She graduated from Indiana University in 2007 with a B.A. in Journalism and Sociology. She is currently WFIU's broadcast assistant and arts reporter.
