Singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux's new CD Bare Bones fills in her resume for the second part of her hyphenated occupation, with Peyroux composing or co-composing all of the album's tunes (her collaborators include producer Larry Klein and Steely Dan member Walter Becker).
Other releases featured on this edition of Afterglow include a new concert recording from jazz-vocal veteran Bill Henderson, selections from Eliane Elias' Bossa Nova Stories, and a new anthology of Frank Sinatra's 1960s/70s Reprise work.
