This week on Afterglow we'll feature more recent reissues from EMI's "Great Jazz Vocal Collection" series, with entries from Dakota Staton ( Dynamic! -her followup to her smash 1958 hit The Late, Late Show), June Christy (The Intimate Miss Christy -a small-group, late-night album and one of the last that Christy recorded for Capitol), and Dinah Shore (Dinah Shore Sings, Andre Previn Plays -Â showcasing Shore in a jazz-piano-trio setting).

In addition to these three jazz-singer gems from the late 1950s and early 1960s, we'll have music from Tony Bennett, Chet Baker, Keith Jarrett, John Hicks, Dave Douglas, and more.
