"Some Enchanted Evening" is a program of jazz and American popular-song love ballads that progress from discovery and longing (Frank Sinatra's performance of the title tune, Nat King Cole's of "When I Fall in Love") to the settled intimacy of Madeleine Peyroux's "Half the Perfect World" and Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong's "Our Love Is Here to Stay."
