For nearly 50 years, Count Basie led one of the swingin-est big bands in the land. This week on the show, we'll be featuring just a few of the many, many singers who sang with The Count. We'll focus in a particular on the first 30 years of Basie's band, around 1935 to 1965, hearing from such vocalists as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Helen Humes, Joe Williams, and more.
