Indiana University – New student orientation

“From start to finish, the staff at IU Radio & Television Services is there to support your project.

Planning and implementing New Student Orientation and Welcome Week at IU involves a great deal of varied programming; we have called upon the services of RTVS many times. We have worked with them  in creating video, in recording and broadcasting events, and even in creating exciting experiences such as that at our annual Traditions and Spirit of IU event during Welcome Week.  From consultation to final product, they have proven to have our best interests at heart.  I have found them to be creative, professional and thorough.  I have appreciated how they work to understand the goals of our various projects, offer suggestions and insights and create a plan to help us make the most of each step to a great end product.  We have been impressed every time with the outcome.”

Ivy Tech Community College – Bloomington

“Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Indiana University – Radio and Television Services.  The IU-RTVS partnership as part of our annual O’Bannon Institute is most productive.  They provide coverage of our Thursday night fund-raising dinner guest speaker and the next day’s O’Bannon Institute on the Ivy Tech Campus.  This relationship has resulted in our being able to present a professionally produced DVD set of the institute’s events to our guests as a token of appreciation for their participation.  The professionalism of the services we receive from the entire IU-RTVS staff is unparalleled. We could not be more pleased with Indiana University – Radio and Television Services.”

DeMolay International, Hall of Fame

“The role of the IU-RTVS staff in the production of the DeMolay International Hall of Fame videos over the years has been invaluable.  We have had a 20 year relationship in producing those videos which are shown annually during the international DeMolay meeting in various cities around the country. The normal attendance for a Hall of Fame dinner is 600 to 700 people.  Audience members and the recipients (who received a copy of their video) are always amazed at the quality and the production values of the Hall of Fame videos.  In addition, the videos are made available for Chapters around the world to see the Hall of Fame presentations.

Together, we have done videos ranging from a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, a US Air Force Major who spent six years in Hanoi POW camp, entrepreneurs, entertainers ranging from Mel Blanc, to Buddy Ebsen to Walt Disney and Walter Cronkite and Paul Harvey.

We have done videos on Governors, Senators, and even President William J. Clinton, a member of the DeMolay Hall of Fame.

Our relationship has always been on the highest professional level, and we could not be more pleased with the work done by the IU-RTVS staff.  We look forward to continuing our association with IU-RTVS.”

Archives of African American Music and Culture

“Collaborating with the staff of Radio/Television Services to document a major two-day conference “Reclaiming the Right to Rock: Black Experiences in Rock Music” sponsored by the Archives of African American Music and Culture, IUB was one of the best decisions I’ve made as director of this unit. The highly professional staff provided a carefully crafted plan, met with my staff and me on several occasions to discuss the execution of every detail, and offered creative ideas for the stage set-up, use of props, approaches to on-camera interviews, and the management the Q & A that followed each of the three conference sessions. The quality of the production was excellent. I am told that we set the standard for staging a documentary-oriented conference.”
