Joe Bourne began his career in public radio some 30 years ago (before NPR!), while a Sociology student at Bellarmine University. Two years at the Louisville School of Art intensified his interest in the visual arts, but it was music that won out when he returned to radio, hosting classical programs and establishing the first jazz programming at WFPL in Louisville.
