Earth Eats is partnering with WTIU Public Television’s children’s series The Friday Zone to empower kids to make healthy choices when choosing a snack. Food blogger and mom Heather Tallman prepares kid-friendly recipes with the help of Felix.
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 whole wheat pitas, cut into triangles
- Fresh veggies to dip
- Add first five ingredients to food processor. Pulse to combine.
- Scoop into a bowl and serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator.
