Noon Edition

Journalist and NPR Producer Peter Breslow

The nice thing about NPR is that there's room for the hardcore, straight-ahead journalists, and there is room for people more like me, who like to do something-when we can-a bit more stylized.

Peter Breslow is the supervising senior producer for NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday and a former producer for All Things Considered.

He has reported and produced from around the country and the world including war-torn countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Somalia, Bosnia, Panama, and Nicaragua.

Breslow won a Peabody Award for his series of reports Cowboys on Everest for which he joined members of an expedition that scaled 23,000 feet up Mount Everest, enduring an earthquake, landslides, and a bridge collapse.
