Messy Blessing

“We are not nouns, we are verbs. I am not a thing – an actor, a writer – I am a person who does things – I write, I act – and I never know what I'm going to do next. I think you can be imprisoned if you think of yourself as a noun.” – Stephen Fry

Tony Brewer is chair of the Writers Guild at Bloomington, executive director of the Spoken Word Stage at the 4th Street Arts Festival, and one third of the poetry performance group Reservoir Dogwoods. He’s been up for a Pushcart Prize twice and his latest book is Hot Type Cold Read.

On this edition of The Poets Weave, Tony reads "¿Dónde está el baño?" "Cross," "messy blessing," and "The Things that Stick."
