Noon Edition airs on Fridays at noon on WFIU.

Spring is officially here, which means it’s time for our annual spring gardening show.

According to The Gardening Dad, some of the best flowers to grow in Indiana during the month of April include petunias, daisies, and dahlias.

The city of Bloomington also offers a Community Gardening Program. The program provides resources such as infrastructure, access to water, compost, communal tools, and more.

This Friday on Noon Edition, we will talk with experts about the best ways to start and manage your garden all season long. It’s always a popular show, so get your questions in early.

You can follow us on Twitter at @NoonEdition or join us on the air by calling 812-855-0811 or toll-free at 1-877-285-9348. You can also send questions for the show at news@indianapublicmedia.org.
