Noon Edition airs on Fridays at noon on WFIU.

The Bloomington City Council has a new look this year. Four first-time council members were elected and took office Jan. 1.

Newly elected council member, Shruti Rana, announced that she is stepping down from the council after revealing and moving out of state due to a new position. Other Democrats have expressed interest in her seat and one will be picked in a party caucus.
