Deer Task Force

Growing concerns about the number of deer in Bloomington led to the creation of the task force in April

The Bloomington-Monroe County Deer Task Force was created in April to address concerns about the population of deer in the city. The task force held public comment forums this summer and launched an online survey in the fall, but has yet to release the results.

Join us Friday at 12 p.m. with your questions for the task force as they talk about the progress they've made so far and their goal for having a proposal by the end of the year. Visit this site to be part of our live chat, follow us on Twitter @NoonEdition, or join us on the air by calling in at 812-855-0811 or 1-877-285-WFIU.

Guests:

  • Thomas Moore - PhD Student at IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs
  • Sarah Hayes - CEO of Monroe County Humane Association
  • Dave Rollo - Bloomington City Council Member (Task Force Chair)
