Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Farewell Concert and Meet & Greet Bundle

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

After nearly six decades, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is hitting the road one last time. Bid a bittersweet goodbye to NGDB when the legendary band's "All the Good Times: The Farewell Tour" comes to the Murat Theatre at Old National Center on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The evening promises fans a momentously unforgettable night of country rock's most influential tunes. Sing along to favorites "An American Dream," "Fishin' in the Dark," "Long Hard Road," and the their iconic rendition of Jerry Jeff Walker's "Mr. Bojangles." The “All the Good Times” concert is exactly what it sounds like — a joy ride through NGDB’s tallest musical heights, heralded by their self-titled debut and milestoned by seminal recordings such as the Will the Circle Be Unbroken album and its 2x Grammy Award-winning followup. Relive all the eras of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's revitalized and reinvented string harmonies, narrated by the act’s enduring on-stage catalog. Don't miss this chance for a nostalgic journey through the songs that have struck deeply, longingly, and unforgettably at the hearts of generations of Americana music fans.

Country popstar Mae Estes will open the show, honoring the legends of music pioneers like Dolly Parton and Kitty Wells with the rootsy and plain-spoken traditionalist style of her stone-cold hits, such as “Thinkin' 'Bout Cheatin'” and “Hell You Raised.”

For a membership contribution of $360, or an ongoing monthly contribution of $30 as a WTIU sustainer, you will receive two tickets to see Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's final performance at the Murat Theatre on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:30 PM. In addition, you will receive two passes to attend the exclusive post-concert Meet & Greet PLUS a bonus gift of an NGDB baseball cap!
