Voters at the Indiana GOP's election night party say similarities between Mike Braun and President Donald Trump drew them to the polls.

Republican businessman Mike Braun has unseated incumbent Democrat Joe Donnelly. Donnelly was considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for re-election this year.

U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly is considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for re-election this year. And Indiana’s race is one of the most contentious in the country.

Former President Barack Obama urged Hoosiers to vote for incumbent U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) in what he calls “the most important election of our lifetimes.”

Trump spoke for nearly an hour. His speech ranged from touting his administration’s efforts to reminiscing about his 2016 victory.

Across the Midwest, health care has emerged as one of the year’s biggest campaign flash points — in races from U.S. Senate to state attorney general.

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham was in Mishawaka Thursday morning campaigning with Indiana Senate candidate Mike Braun.

Libertarian candidate Lucy Brenton relishes the chance to play the spoiler in Indiana’s crucial U.S. Senate race. Brenton sees it as an opportunity to advance the Libertarian Party’s ideals.

Former President Barack Obama will campaign for incumbent U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly Sunday in Gary, in between two visits from President Donald Trump to campaign for Donnelly's opponent.

Both Donnelly and Braun say they oppose abortion, though Donnelly has highlighted how he believes exceptions should be made in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother's health could be at stake.
