This week on Artworks, students from Indiana connect with their counterparts in Guatemala. They’ve come together again in the spirit of friendship and creativity as part of the Art Across the Americas project. WFIU’s Yael Ksander paid the team a visit as they worked on a new mural in downtown Bloomington.
Also on the program, a visit with conductor Mario Venzago who explains the reason behind the baton and some of the highlights from his upcoming concert with the IU festival orchestra
And as part of our Street Sounds series, we’ll hear from two brothers who have become a regular fixture at the farmers market and on the sidewalks of Kirkwood avenue.
