Episode 137 - Discussing Visual Effects With Hoyt Yeatman
On this week's episode, we're talking to visual effects supervisor Hoyt Yeatman. Hoyt has worked in Hollywood for close to 40 years and has worked on films like Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Blade Runner, The Abyss, Crimson Tide, The Rock and Armageddon among others.
We start with What Have You Seen Lately, and Jason is discussing This Is The End, and Andy is talking about Upstream Color.
We then start our discussion with Hoyt Yeatman. Hoyt talks about his early career, starting his own company, and how video game technology can change filmmaking. It's an amazing discussion that covers a wide breadth of the history of visual effects.
We will be off the next two weeks, but will be back with an Indy Film Fest review soon!
