Episode 103 - Discussing Claire Denis
On this week's episode, we're talking about filmmaker Claire Denis with grad student Nzingha Kendall. The Claire Denis series starts at the Cinema on November 4th, and the filmmaker is scheduled to be in attendance for several events.
We start out with What Have You Seen Lately and Jason is talking about Alien, while Andy is talking about a documentary Indie Game: The Movie.
We then talk about Claire Denis with Nzingha. We cover her style, the films coming to the Cinema, and what audiences can expect. Nzingha also discusses her work at the Black Film Center Archive.
And don't forget, on Saturday, November 3rd at 6:30pm, Jason and Andy will be hosting From Here To Eternity at the IU Cinema. We will introduce the film, and then host a live episode after the film with Craig Simpson from the Lilly Library.
