Episode 105 - Discussing Cinema Technology With Chris Eller
On this week's episode, we're inviting Chris Eller to talk about various cinema technology. We discuss all of the different formats that the IU Cinema can project, and we talk extensively about digital technology.
We start with What Have You Seen Lately, and Jason is discussing Contact, while Andy is discussing some newer films like Argo and Cloud Atlas.
We then start discussing cinema technology. Chris is an expert on digital formats and gives us lots of information about Digital Cinema, 2K vs 4K, why 48 frames per second is a big deal, and what the IU Cinema is doing to support filmmakers in these new digital formats.
It's a very informative episode, so enjoy!
