Episode 70 - Discussing David Copperfield With Live Orchestra At The IU Cinema
On this week's episode, we're talking to Ari Fisher and Nicholas Hersh, the composer and conductor behind the David Copperfield event at the IU Cinema on February 4th and 5th. David Copperfield will be performed accompanied by a live student orchestra performing a student-written score. It should be a special event.
We start out with What Have You Seen Lately. Jason talks about a couple of movies he really loved, and some others he didn't quite understand. Andy covers some items at the Cinema, and an Oscar-nominated movie he did not understand.
We then start talking about David Copperfield and its new score: how it was composed, all the preparation that goes into it, and how Ari and Nicholas got involved.
