We all know that prehistoric aquatic life slowly but surely made the journey to land above sea. But how and when did this transition occur?
That is a question that scientists are still working to answer.
A research group, lead by Marie-Andree Akimenko of the University of Ottawa, have found a new group of genes that they believe to be an important key in understanding the development of limbs.
