“FINDING THE FIX: HEROIN’S HOLD ON THE HEARTLAND” OUTREACH AND GIFT

We found the FTF was picked up by stations, a few of them state wide networks, all over the country.

WTIU KIDS CHANNEL

Launch Monday, January 16, 2017. WTIU Kids will be added as a 5th channel, will have an option for a 6th channel as well.

ICE MILLER ADVOCACY WEBINAR

Wednesday, December 7, 2016 12:00pm-1:00pm

CAB members were encouraged to attend this webinar in order to learn how to advocate on a daily basis for the station. As we are unsure of how the upcoming administration will affect our budgets, we are encouraging our CAB members and their communities to advocate at the local, state and federal level for WTIU and PBS as a whole.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE

Need a CAB Chair, and to fill vacancies with diversity in mind (18 total)

Pam Davidson is nominated as CAB chair. Sally Gaskill is nominated secretary by Pam Davidson.

BICENTENIAL GALA

Stations across the state are coming together for this project. Will air a total of 3 times.

VIEWING GUIDE REDESIGN / SURVEY

Laura Baich presented the CAB members with a survey to help with improving the WTIU member guide. CAB members completed the survey and Laura will present findings at the next meeting.
