Billy Idol: White Wedding

William Michael Albert Broad, or Billy Idol as he is commonly known, reached his greatest level of success in the 1980s, with a string of hit songs. The 1990s proved more difficult for the English hard rocker – in 1990, Idol was in a motorcycle accident and nearly lost his leg. His 1993 album "Cyberpunk" was a flop in the United States, and Idol sunk into deep drug addiction, almost dying of an overdose in 1994. Four years later, Idol began to work his way back to popularity when he appeared as himself in "The Wedding Singer," a film that used Idol's "White Wedding" as its title track.
