Maple Syrup Takes Center Stage, Bread Bakers, Farm Drones

I do think we should get back to the point, as we did in the 1800s, when most people tapped their trees to collect sap and to make sugar in the springtime.


Michael Farrell says if you have trees on your land, you should be collecting sap. We talk to him today about the history of sugaring and where he sees it going in the future.

Tim Burton of Burton's Maplewood Farm let's us taste some of his barrel-aged maple syrup. There's some lemon zest and spices in there.
