
The 2012 farm bill is just around the corner. This week the House is expected to vote and the Senate may follow.
The cuts may be deeper than hoped -- agriculture will receive $4.6 billion less than originally requested.
Much of the farm bill has been written behind closed doors, however.
Grassroots advocates continue to speak out, including Michael Pollan, who urges voters in the video below to "vote with our forks."
"It really should be called the food bill," he says.
