Challah For Rosh Hashanah, Grain Prices Dip, Oak-Rod Baskets

I don't always think about the money part of it. I think about the labor part of it. And I think about the fact that we had this tradition in Indiana and we let it go.

Jon Kay is talking about making oak-rod baskets. These were part of everyday life in Brown County, Indiana at the turn of the 20th century. They were made by farmers. And now the practice has all but disappeared. Today, we'll track the story of these baskets.
