A Bronx Garden And A Cincinnati Chili

La Finca del Sur translates to Farm of the South, named in honor of many of the women's roots in the American South, or the Global South. (photo courtesy of La Finca del Sur)

This week we're giving a second listen to an interview with Urban Farmer, Suzanne Babb, about what it means for her to be growing food in the Bronx on a farm led by women of color. She farms at La Finca del Sur, you can read more about it in the story below, from last August.

Susan Mintert of Indiana Home Cooks shares her recipe for Cincinnati-style chili, and Harvest Public Media brings us two stories from farmers, about the future of hops farming and how to plan for Spring with trade uncertainties.

The Earth Eats' theme music is composed by Erin Tobey and performed by Erin and Matt Tobey.
