
National Beef Packing Company of Liberal, Kan., recalled some 50,000 pounds of ground beef after a sample tested positive for E. coli O157:H7.
The beef products were produced on July 18 and bear the code "EST. 208A" on the label. (Visit the USDA's website for a more detailed list of recalled items.)
E. coli infection can cause bloody diarrhea, dehydration and even kidney failure. As of yet, no illnesses have been linked to the recall.
