Join WFIU and WTIU on December 1 for a global day centered on giving to organizations that make an impact in our lives and the lives of those we care about. And, this Giving Tuesday is especially important to WFIU and WTIU because of the potential it holds—for the communities we serve, and for you.
WFIU and WTIU are your not-for-profit public media stations. We harness the power of honest reporting and compelling storytelling to connect communities and to improve the lives of your friends, family, and neighbors throughout the Hoosier state.
In this challenging year, our public service mission has taken on new relevance. The trusted journalism we provide seems more critical. The music, entertainment, and engrossing journeys of discovery we deliver have become more of a comfort. And we’re a trusted source of educational content for teachers, students, and families—serving rural areas without reliable access to the internet and helping to fill educational gaps for at-home learning.
You can rely on WFIU and WTIU to deliver programs and services that respond to the ever-changing needs of this moment. However, we couldn’t do any of this without your investment in us. And Giving Tuesday is your opportunity to make a financial pledge to help ensure WFIU and WTIU will remain strong in the year ahead.
And there’s an especially good reason to get involved: A group of generous donors has offered matching donations for both stations. We hope you will take advantage of this rare opportunity to have your support to WFIU and WTIU doubled. Increase the amount of your monthly investment, renew your membership, or make an additional gift if you can at this time.
WFIU and WTIU members and supporters power our ability to inspire, engage, educate, and entertain our entire audience, including those who can’t afford to give. If you are able, we hope you will join this effort as we celebrate Giving Tuesday.
We know there are many great causes to support, and we’re hopeful that you see the benefit of trusted journalism and programs and services that strengthen our community. It’s only possible with your help. Thank you!
