The California state assembly will vote Thursday on the Consumer Right to Know Act, making genetically-engineered salmon marked as such.

Filmmaker Robert Kenner has launched the “Just Label It” campaign as part of his FixFood social media platform. “Just Label It” calls for the labeling of genetically modified organisms in our food.

The “Just Label It” video is aimed towards consumers because they have “a right to know what’s in [their] food.”

FixFood is designed to provide consumers with the resources to make informed choices about what they put into their bodies.

Thursday the California state assembly will vote on the Consumer Right To Know Act which will determine if genetically modified salmon must be labeled.
