The Monroe County Humane Association is a non-profit that has been protecting, advocating and educating for animal welfare since 1956.

The Monroe County Humane Association (MCHA) is a non-profit that has served the animal community in Monroe and surrounding counties since 1956. Their mission is to keep animals safe and healthy and to support pet owners to achieve that goal.

“[We are] here to make sure all pets stay in their forever home,” says Events and Communications Director, Kimberly Goy.

The MCHA provides educational programming and information to pet owners to that can make informed  decisions and choices. Their services include spay and neuter assistance, weekly low-cost medical clinics, and monthly low-cost vaccinations clinics.

“Our goal is to keep your pet with you, in your home forever,” say Goy.
