Girls Incorporated Of Monroe County

Girls Incorporated is a national youth organization dedicated to helping girls become strong, smart, and bold.

Girls really need a safe space to learn, and to experiment with new things…whether that’s a chance to really get their hands dirty with science and nature, or if they need a safe space to do their homework. — Lucy Berger, Director of Operations

Girls Incorporated is a national youth organization dedicated to helping girls become strong, smart, and bold. Girls, Inc. of Monroe County provides programs to girls ages 6 to 18 after school, on weekends, and during the summer through its network of affiliates.

Girls, Inc programs are centered on a philosophy of providing a safe space for girls to learn, play sports, and try new things. After-school programs have six areas of concentration: career skills, self-reliance, health and sexuality, sports, leadership, and culture and heritage.
