Families call us for everything from “I need to find childcare for my child who was unique medical needs,” to “I have no idea how to apply for medicaid for my child”…and we find ways to help them meet those needs.—Cyndi Johnson, Health Information Specialist

Family Voices Indiana is a family-led organization that provides information, education, training, outreach and peer support for families who have children with special health care needs.

Family Voices works with families to help them access the services and support they need, whether that be help applying for financial assistance, finding childcare, or learning about their child’s condition.

Cyndi Johnson, a health information specialist with Family Voices, describes the organization as a “one-stop shop.” The organization serves any family whose child has special health care needs.

In addition, all of the health information specialists at Family Voices are themselves caregivers of children with special health care needs.
