Serve IT: Tech Services For Nonprofits

A new project from the IU School of Informatics is bringing IT services to Bloomington nonprofits.

Serve IT, a new project from the IU School of Informatics and the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA), is bringing IT services to Bloomington nonprofits. Student volunteers help organizations create technology strategies and databases, and help with web design. The structure of the project makes it possible for organizations to use student volunteers yet still maintain continuity and make progress in their projects from semester to semester.

So far, four Bloomington nonprofits have used Serve IT as part of the project’s pilot semester: Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington, Sycamore Land Trust, Middle Way House, and Christole Inc.

Do you work at a nonprofit that could use this service? What would you need?
