“We get to work on something we believe in…and we get to help people in the process.”

-Bill Weeks, Director, Conservation Law Center

The Conservation Law Center is a non-profit that provides legal counsel without charge to conservation organizations.

“We work to improve conservation law and policy,” says Director Bill Weeks. “We [also] offers law students clinical experience in the practice of law.”

The center focuses in several areas including threatened and endangered species, high quality aquatic ecosystem, land trusts, and special work in land easements.

They support interns from area law schools which gives them an active group of people who represent conservation organizations.
