Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington

The mission of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington is to help kids reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

If we can get kids to get past some of the circumstances they’ve been dealt, they’re going to be in a much better situation. The dropout rate is half of the national average for Boys and Girls Clubs members, which is a profound statistic.–Jeff Baldwin, Executive Director

The mission of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

After-school, summer, and school break programming is the cornerstone of the Boys & Girls Clubs. Three Bloomington clubs–in Ellettsville, the Crestmont community, and on Lincoln Street–serve Bloomington youths ages 6-18. Members can participate in tutoring, Spanish Club, Aviation Club, art programs, and many more. Although the majority of members are under age 13, special programs and clubs provide both leadership and mentoring to youths ages 11 to 18.
