“We did expect it to be up and running by now, however we ran into some challenges,” Monroe County Health Administrator Penny Caudill says.
Caudill says the site ran into some issues that prevented them from having a completely safe and smooth-running operation.
The state is scheduling appointments through its website for those who want to be tested.
“I apologize for anybody who had an appointment and hasn’t gotten it rescheduled yet,” Caudill says, adding that those people should receive a call from OptumServe to find another time. Anyone who would like to make an appointment for when the site is ready can do so here online.
Caudill also says if you don’t want to wait, Indiana residents can be tested in any county. She says you don’t have to be a resident of the county in which you are tested.
