Each spring, we invite graduating high school seniors to come on Noon Edition and talk about their experiences and give us some insight into what their lives might look like after leaving the high school hallways.
This year’s class of students graduating high school is unique, as they finished their high school courses online and graduation ceremonies were cancelled due to COVID-19.
On top of that, spring sports events and social activities like prom were cancelled.
On this week’s show, we’ll be joined by high school seniors from Bloomington and the surrounding areas who will talk about their experiences, plans moving forward, and what it’s been like to finish up their time in high school during a pandemic.
They have varying career and educational goals, but all of them have plans, which vary from vocational school to attending college or university.
Join us this week as we talk about high school seniors’ plans after graduation.
You can follow us on Twitter @NoonEdition or join us on the air by calling in at 812-855-0811 or toll-free at 1-877-285-9348. You can also send us questions for the show at news@indianapublicmedia.org.
Note-This week of our guests and hosts will participate remotely to avoid risk of spreading infection. Because of this we will not be able to take callers live on-air.
