Study says students spending too much time in college – 13 WTHR Research shows too many kids are dropping out of college and those who stick it out are taking way too long to graduate. Less than one in three Indiana college students are graduating in four years. Most are spending much more time and money in school or just give up. New research finds just 61 percent of students seeking bachelor’s degrees finish within eight years. Part-time students fare even worse, with only 15 percent earning a diploma in twice the anticipated time. (thr.com)

Greenfield Daily Reporter – Libraries occupy front lines in debate over banning books “And Tango Makes Three” is the story of two male penguins living, as a couple, in New York’s Central Park Zoo who together hatch and raise a penguin from an extra egg. The illustrated children’s book, just 30 pages long, is a true story. It also happens to be perhaps the most controversial book on the market the past five years. It has been targeted by various groups and individuals who have demanded that it be pulled from library shelves. (greenfieldreporter.com)
