    Shift to online learning raises questions about costs to schools » Clark County » News and Tribune Legislation that would require high school students in Indiana to take at least one online course is meeting resistance from some school administrators who say they can’t afford any more mandates from the state. The bill would require all public school students to take a “virtual instruction course” before graduating with a Core 40 diploma, beginning with the freshman class of 2013. Each school corporation would be required to provide at least three virtual instruction courses in which a student can enroll. (NewsandTribune.com)

    College credit transfer legislation advances | 2012-02-14 | Indianapolis Business Journal | IBJ.com College students could soon ensure classes they take at one Indiana university aren’t wasted if they transfer to another state-supported school. The Indiana House Education Committee voted unanimously Monday to approve a measure that would make it easier for students to carry credits earned from one state university, like Indiana, to another public university, like Purdue.
